Honor women who are leading with intention
We celebrate women whose leadership is visible in how they serve, build, and show up.
Ladies of Leadership Signature Recognition
A signature Ladies of Leadership honor created to celebrate women who lead with intention, show up with purpose, and continue making an impact in business, community, and life.
This recognition exists to affirm the women whose presence, courage, growth, and consistency continue to leave a mark.
At BALM GLOBAL Ladies of Leadership, we believe leadership is not only about titles, stages, or visibility. It is about how you show up when no one is watching, how you serve when it would be easier to stay silent, and how you keep moving forward with purpose even when the journey is not easy.
The Make It Count Recognition was created to honor women who embody exactly that. These are women who lead with heart, move with intention, and remind us that every moment has the power to count for something greater.
The Story Behind Make It Count
Every episode of the Building A Leadership Mindset Podcast closes with the words: Have a great day and remember to Make It Count.
That statement was never meant to be just a tagline. It has always been a real belief. It reflects the way Nicky Cuesta approaches life, leadership, business, and service. The belief is simple but powerful: no matter what you are doing, every second in your life should count for something greater.
What began as a closing message became something much bigger.
Sandra Martinez and the BALM GLOBAL Team took that message and transformed it into a meaningful moment by presenting Nicky with a leadership award that read Make It Count. Over time, it became clear that this message was not only personal to Nicky. It was alive within the Ladies of Leadership community. It was showing up in the women who were growing, stretching, serving, building, leading, and refusing to let their lives pass by without purpose.
That is when the Make It Count Recognition was born.
What started as a message became a movement of acknowledgment. A way to say: we see you, we honor you, and we recognize the leadership you carry. This recognition is a celebration of women who are making their lives, leadership, businesses, and impact count in real ways.
Why This Recognition Matters
Recognition matters because too many women are doing powerful work behind the scenes and rarely hear the words they deserve to hear.
We celebrate women whose leadership is visible in how they serve, build, and show up.
This recognition affirms the real work, quiet strength, and lasting influence women carry.
We honor the women who continue to pour into others while pursuing their own purpose.
Leadership should be recognized out loud. This creates room for women to feel seen.
Their service, development, and impact deserve to be acknowledged and celebrated.
It is not just about visibility. It is about the kind of leadership that leaves a lasting mark.
